Euless, TX, November 18, 2021 20:44 – Several callers reported heavy smoke and flames in a neighborhood. Dispatchers sent Euless FD & PD, along with Grapevine FD for automatic-mutual-aid. They all arrived quickly, to find a duplex with heavy fire from the back of a single-story duplex. Several attack lines were pulled as part of the initial attack. A second alarm was requested, but was not held for long. A 2nd structure fire in an apartment was dispatched about that time, so several of the 2nd alarm companies were rerouted there. Fortunately, that fire was quickly contained. Bedford, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Watauga, and possibly others assisted on scene or with covering other calls. There were no known injuries at post time.
