2 Alarm Apartment Fire – Bedford Apartment Fire Fire Service Incident January 10, 2026January 11, 2026 Bedford, TX January 8, 2026 – Bedford 911 dispatchers toned out an apartment fire in the 1600 block of Oak Creek Ln with automatic-mutual-aid from Euless. Station 3 crews reported seeing a header as they responded. On arrival, they found a 2 two-story apartment with heavy fire and smoke showing from a second story balcony and the roof. Battalion 15 requested a second alarm. Truck 154 firefighters started searching apartments while attacking the fire with Engine 153 on the A side. Engine 152 made an exterior attack on the balcony fire from the C side. Colleyville, Grapevine, Hurst, and Southlake firefighters responded to the scene and backfilled Bedford Station 1. Truck 154 set the aerial for a defensive attack, but fortunately was not needed due the to quick and effective interior and exterior work on the ground. Several pets were rescued, and fortunately no one was injured. Bedford and Euless police officers, animal services, code enforcement, and the American Red Cross all assisted.
