Overnight House Fire in Bedford

Bedford, TX October 2, 2020 01:04 – 911 dispatchers received a call from residents reporting their home was on fire, with heavy smoke coming from the attic. Bedford fire and police, along with an automatic-mutual-aid engine and battalion chief from Euless were dispatched. Station 1’s crews arrived quickly, followed by the rest of the department. Battalion 15 reported smoke visible inside the home, which quickly began pushing out. Truck 151’s crew made the initial attack, backed up by the medic. Command requested fill-ins for Station 1 to cover the city as Bedford firefighters quickly put out the fire and began overhaul. The fire is still under investigation.
