Colleyville Kitchen Fire

May 9, 2019 19:02 – Colleyville, TX – NETCOM Fire Alarm dispatchers received a call for a fire in the kitchen of a home, and sent Colleyville police officers, Battalion 24, Truck 241, Engine 242, Engine 243, Hurst Medic 211 and Engine 201, as well was Keller Truck 581 and Battalion 58.

Colleyville crews were finishing supper at Station 1 when the call was toned out. Units arrived to find smoke showing from the B side of the single story house. Engine 242 pulled an attack line and water cans, while Truck 241 laid a dry supply line. A fire was found involving an appliance in the kitchen, and quickly knocked down with minimal water. Overhaul and ventilation was started, and mutual aid crews were quickly released. The American Red Cross was requested to assist the displaced family.
