April 11, 2019 22:04 – Southlake, Texas – NETCOM fire alarm dispatchers responded to a house fire call, sending firefighters from Southlake, Keller, Westlake, Trophy Club, and Roanoke to the scene. Grapevine provided station fill-ins, and there may have been others that I missed. Engine 403 arrived to find a working fire on the alpha side. They pulled an attack line and went to work. Battalion 40 assumed command on his arrival. Engine 401 arrived and pulled a second attack line. The fire got into the attic and broke through the roof at one point. Battalion Chief 40 requested a 2nd alarm. Fortunately, crews were able to work aggressively and knock down the fire. The house was under construction.
