Lake Worth Pushes In New Engine 10

April 5, 2019 14:00, Lake Worth, Texas – The Lake Worth Fire Department welcomed their new Engine 10 into service with a traditional push-in ceremony. Chief Christenson spoke briefly, thanking the citizens and city officials for the new engine that will serve Lake Worth, Lakeside, and surrounding communities on mutual aid calls. The new engine is a Pierce Dash CF PUC pumper built with a tank for 750 gallons of water, the Pierce PUC 1500 GPM pump, and Husky 3 foam system with 20 gallon foam cell. Dozens of people including several city officials, and from other city and area departments, Medstar, as well as citizens attended. After the chief spoke, people placed their hands on the engine for a blessing, and then pushed it into the station. Custom cookies and refreshments were shared as people enjoyed checking out the beautiful new fire engine.
