Bedford, TX – January 7, 2021 14:48 – Dispatchers received several calls reporting smoke and flames visible from a house on Aberdeen Dr. Battalion 15 arrive reporting fire from the roof of the delta(back) side. Truck 151 was assigned fire attack and went to work. Engine 152 supplied. Medic 151 was assigned to fire attack as well. E153 searched. Euless Quint 552 and Battalion 55 were dispatched as automatic-mutual-aid. Medic and Engine 152 worked a 2nd line. Safety reported heavy fire from the Charlie/delta side. Quint 552 assumed RIT. Attack crews pulled ceiling and got water on the fire. A 3rd line was pulled, and the fire knocked down at 15:04. Hurst and other neighboring departments backfilled Bedford stations. Command was terminated 16:52.
