Man Electrocuted in Bedford

September 14, 2019 – Early afternoon, Bedford dispatchers sent fire and police to reports of a worker electrocuted while working on a home near the Bedford Boys Ranch. Bedford FD’s medical officer, EMS 15, responded with Engine and Medic 151, and after a quick evaluation of the patient’s condition requested an air ambulance. PHI Med 10 (out of Denton) had auto launched after being put on standby. 2 Police units and Engine 152 setup a Landing Zone(LZ) at the Bedford Boys Ranch. The patient was flown to Medical City Plano.
