Colleyville 2 Alarm Commercial Fire Commercial Fire Fire Service Incident May 5, 2024May 5, 2024 Colleyville, TX May 4th, 2024 16:43 – NETCOM Dispatchers received calls reporting a dry cleaners on fire in the 4400 block of Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville Fire and Police were dispatched, along with automatic-mutual-aid from Hurst and North Richland Hills fire departments. Battalion 24 arrived on scene quickly reporting a single-story, commercial structure with heavy smoke showing. Truck 241(on E241) arrived and went to working quickly searching and softening the building, and attempting an initial attack through the front door. Other Colleyville apparatus arrived with Hurst Engine 201 and North Richland Hills Quint 221. E201 cut the rollup door and Q221 laddered the roof on the C side, as other crews were able to access the seat of the fire from the back. A second alarm was struck bringing additional help and resources from Bedford, Haltom City, Watauga, Hurst, Euless, and Grapevine to the scene. The fire was under control in less than 45 minutes. There are no known injuries at post time, however the building and the contents suffered heavy damage.
