Commercial Structure Fire in Colleyville

Colleyville, TX December 21, 2022 03:41 NETCOM Dispatchers received reports of a fire in the area of Cheek-Sparger and Brown Trail. Colleyville police and firefighters were dispatched along with automatic-mutual-aid from Bedford and Hurst fire departments. On arrival, Truck 241 found heavy smoke and fire from the roof of a 2 story commercial building, resembling house construction. The building housed several office suites. Crews conducted a quick search, forced several doors, and started an interior attack. They encountered a partial ceiling collapse with deteriorating, conditions, and then switched to an exterior, defensive attack using Engine 242’s deck gun, Truck 241’s aerial master stream, and several handlines. Hurst Engine 203 attacked it from the back. Bedford Truck 151 laid a supply line to E-203 and then assisted with fire suppression. There are no known injuries.
