Haltom City 2+ Alarm Commercial Fire Commercial Fire Fire Service Incident June 6, 2021 Haltom City, TX – June 5, 22:24 – 911 Dispatchers sent crews to the 2800 block of Glenda Ave in Haltom City for a commercial structure fire. As crews arrived, they quickly requested a 2nd alarm due to the numerous metal rollup doors of the metal building that would need to be opened. Several handlines were stretched and crews made interior attacks. The building construction and configuration was challenging for accessing the seat of the fire. Eventually crews were pulled from inside, and an exterior attack was made using an aerial master stream for a while. Once the exterior attack effectiveness faded, crews returned to interior and concentrated on opening up the building more. On scene, numerous other departments assisted including Bedford, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Haltom City Police, Medstar, and CERT Rehab. Other departments covered other calls in the city during the fire.
