Bedford, TX March 8, 202113:30 – 911 Dispatchers received a call from a plumber reporting a house fire. Bedford firefighters and police were dispatched along with automatic-mutual-aid from Hurst. While en route, Chief 154 reported smoke showing, and declared a working incident. Engine 153 arrived quickly and went to work. Strong winds blew the smoke close to the ground, causing very poor visibility. Other apparatus from Bedford and Hurst arrived and the fire was brought under control. Additional manpower was brought to the scene from Euless, Grapevine, and North Richland Hills with others covering Bedford calls. There are no known injuries. Bedford police assisted with traffic control and their drone.
