September 22, 2019 10:06 – Hurst 911 dispatchers received a call reporting a garage fire in a home on the city’s north side and sent police and fire crews from Hurst and Colleyville. Medic 211 arrived quickly, and reported heavy smoke from the eves of the single story, brick home. Engine 201 arrived next and everyone went to work. Crews cut an access hole in the roll-up garage door for the initial attack, followed by a 2nd line through the front door when more helped arrived. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire was unknown at posting.
