Richland Hills, Texas August 14, 2019 12:35 – Dispatchers sent police and fire crews from Richland Hills, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, AA Wrecker Service, and Oncor to an accident in the 3400 block of Norton in Richland Hills. A driver managed to back onto utility pole guy wires, becoming stuck. The driver didn’t appear to be injured.

Richland Hills firefighters received help from North Richland Hills Engine 222 and made a special call for Haltom City Rescue 47(one of two heavy rescues in the Northeast Fire Department Association (NEFDA) arsenal). Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and then assisted the driver out of the car with a step ladder, and EMS checked her condition and gave her water on the very hot afternoon.

With the driver out, crews from AA Wrecker Service and Oncor went to work to remove the car from the wires and tow the car.
