Around 10:30PM, January 3, 2019, Bedford 911 dispatchers received a call from an apartment resident who smelled smoke in his apartment in the 300 block of Bedford road.Truck 153 arrived and found smoke increasing, and requested additional resources. A fire was found in the apartment below, and quickly knocked down. Hurst firefighters assisted on scene and Euless back filled Bedford station 1 to cover the city. This was the 3rd structure fire in Bedford in less than 24 hours.
