Grapevine, TX February 13, 2022 8:03 Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire with a person possibly still inside, near Grapevine Lake. The size-ups of arriving units reported heavy fire and smoke from a single story house. Crews went to work quickly, searching for the resident, attacking the fire, and performing vertical ventilation. Unfortunately, the victim did not survive. Firefighters faced intense flames, but were able to get the fire under control in about 30 minutes. Southlake Fire Department provided mutual-aid on scene, and the CFA provided rehab.
