Hurst, TX December 28, 2023 18:20 Dispatchers toned out a house fire on Evergreen after residents reported their fireplace on fire. Colleyville Fire Department responded on automatic-mutual-aid, and other departments assisted on other calls during the fire. Station 1 units arrived quickly reporting smoke and fire showing from the two-story home’s chimney. Firefighters stretched an attack line and went to work. As other units arrived a supply line was laid and Truck 202 set up their aerial for easier access to the chimney. There are no known injuries at post time, and the American Red Cross was on the way to help the residents.
