Westlake, TX – August 14, 2021 13:00 – NETCOM Alarm got real busy as a thunderstorm rolled through the northern part of Tarrant County. They dispatched several structure fires, all within a very short time. A lightning strike is likely to blame for a 2 alarm house fire in Westlake. Keller police responded along with fire departments from Southlake, Keller, Trophy Club, Roanoke, Colleyville, Grapevine, and Bedford to assist Westlake. A fire sprinkler system is reported to have kept the fire in check with firefighters completing suppression, saving the “mega size, 2 story structure”. There are no known injuries at the time of this post. Southlake investigated one, and Keller had a smoldering one in their city.
