July 31, 2020 18:35 Bedford, TX – 911 Operators received a call reporting an accident involving a car that hit a home and caught fire. Bedford Police and Fire Departments were dispatched, along with mutual aid from Hurst. They arrived quickly to find a 4 door sedan that had hit the corner of a single story house, with fire from the car starting to catch the house on fire. The car fire was knocked down by Engine 153’s crew and then they went inside the house to check for extension. Fortunately, the fire had not spread inside. There was at least one injury reported, however the condition of the patient(s) is not known at post time.
