Friday Night(January 11, 2019) – Hurst 911 Dispatchers answered the call for a house fire on the south side of town, in the 500 block of Norwood. They sent police and firefighters from Hurst and Bedford. Truck 202 arrived first reporting smoke showing, and quickly went to work, followed by Engine 203. I believe this was the first fire where Truck 202 flowed water from their new Pierce Velocity. I’m not aware of any injuries. A second attack line was pulled from the bumper of Truck 202. Bedford Truck 154 and Battalion 15 assisted on scene, and were release fairly quickly.
