Hurst 2 Alarm Apartment Fire and Exterior Fire

Hurst, TX March 25, 2022 – Sorry, for the lack of details on these. I’ve got a busy weekend ahead, and am rushing these through. This morning Hurst 911 Operators received reports of an apartment fire at 445 Precinct Line Road in south Hurst. Police and Engine 203 reported heavy fire on their arrival, with fire extending from a 1st floor apartment to an 2nd floor apartment. They rescued a man from the 2nd floor apartment and made a transitional attack(attacking from exterior, before moving interior). With heavy fire and evacuations a 2nd alarm was requested. I believe Richland Hills was on the 1st, and the 2nd alarm brought Bedford, North Richland Hills, and Fort Worth. They were able to quickly bring the fire under control. American Red Cross assisted several displaced people.

This evening, another structure fire was dispatched at 704 W. Pipeline at the Neighborhood Walmart Fuel Center. PD and Truck 202 arrived on scene quickly, finding an exterior fire on the east side of the building. The fire was quickly knocked down and only Battalion 20 and Engine 203 held on scene with the truck.

Again, I apologize for the rush-job, and especially if I missed or messed up anything.
