Haltom City, TX – October 11, 2020 – NHRW 911 Dispatchers received a call reporting smoke coming from the back of a house in Haltom City. Crews from Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Watauga, and Medstar were dispatched. Watauga E311 was closest and arrived quickly reporting a single story home with heavy smoke from the back of the house. They pulled an attack line and went to work as other crews arrived and supplied them. Additional attack lines were pulled and some ventilation holes cut in the roof. It’s believed the fire started in the backyard and extended into the home. There were no known injuries at post time.
