September 7, 2020 03:38 – Haltom City, TX – 911 Dispatchers received a call reporting a house fire on Field Street. Police and fire crews from Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Fort Worth, Hurst, and Bedford were sent. Additionally, Atmos, Oncor, Haltom City CERT and The American Red Cross were requested to the scene. The house was set back quite a ways from the street and surrounded by trees and other structures. First arriving crews found heavy fire and went to work, and had to back out for a defensive attack when conditions worsened. As more crews arrived, the fire was quickly contained. There were no known injuries at post time.
