January 28, 2020 21:13 – Haltom City, TX Fire alarm dispatchers started receiving numerous calls. It wasn’t clear what was burning, but there were several explosions reported, and it was near train tracks. Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Fort Worth fire departments along with HCPD and Medstar were sent to the area.

Arriving crews found several garbage trucks on fire, and quickly went to work. The smoke and flames were visible far quite a distance. Command requested a 2nd alarm to scene. Several of those companies were released. However, overhaul was expected to take a lot of work due to the condition of the trash trucks and how close they were to each other. There were no known injuries at the post time.
